The biggest difference between audiophile-grade network cables and regular standard network cables lies in their different purposes. The purpose of regular network cables is to achieve standardized transmission speeds while accurately transmitting data. However, for audiophile-grade network cables, transmission speed is not the main evaluation standard; sound quality is. In fact, in terms of transmission speed alone, traditional CAT-5e cables are sufficient for streaming music playback. 1. The so-called "full positive phase" technology is generally produced by standard wire factories with a back-and-forth axis winding method. This production method involves two conflicting directions! However, it is highly efficient! MPSOURCE requires that the crystalline orientation of each conductor must be the same in order to be wound into a bundle. We found that if the wires do not have a unified orientation, it can result in unclear sound when listening at low volume, and noisy sound when listening at high volume, or a situation where the audio focus is off and the low frequencies are loose! This can lead to an unpleasant listening experience. 2. "Sequential progression" means that the direction of the conductor must align with the direction of the signal or electric current.
